Born from DJ Mani’s passion for French Carribean beats, Créole Zouk Nights is DJ Mani’s second venture in promoting tropical music in Sydney. Building on the success of his first venture, Club Zouk, DJ Mani decided to take it to the next level; adding a greater variety of music and entertainment. “Launching and running Club Zouk with my partners Nick Toth and DJ X for three years made me realise just how much Sydney was looking for this kind of vibe. But it wasn’t enough, I wanted to do more. That’s what inspired me to go on to create Créole Zouk Nights in 2012”, says DJ Mani.
Emmanuel “DJ Mani” has been sending waves through the Australian Salsa scene since 1999, residing over the decks at hugely renowned events like the Bacardi Festival, the Australian Salsa Championship Finals and Sydney Latin Fiesta.
Mani has been a regular DJ at many Sydney salsa clubs, including Art House, BJ’s, Salsalicious, Azucar, Club Salsa, Bar Broadway and Daintree’s Jungle Fever, Noche de Fuego as well as being one of the main men behind Casa De La Salsa. With his background in Hip-Hop, Mani found his place with Cuban Timba but soon expanded into all other styles of Latin music.
Originally from the French part of Switzerland, Mani grew up listening to ZOUK music and now finally has an opportunity to share his love of this music with people here in Australia.

DJ Lord Gee
Born in Canada of Haitian parents, DJ LordGee was always exposed to the sounds of the caribbean. During his adolescent and early adult years he was deeply interested in HipHop and R&B music which ultimately resulted in his ongoing passion for DJing since 1998. Even then, his friends and family recognised his talent and his musical ear for his passion, but he never pursued it further other than playing for friends at houseparties.
During his Uni days in France he was introduced to the romantic sounds of Zouk and since then has always kept an attentive “ear” on that scene. Now in Sydney, DJ LordGee has the opportunity to share his love for music with a wider audience.
Having much love for a wide variety of music genres (hiphop, r&b, salsa, reggaeton, dance, zouk…) makes LordGee a versatile DJ that undoubtedly will make you move.
